2011:
After being off
line for some time I was able to get some new miniatures up onto the website
during the last month. Recently a gentleman from Scotland came up with “THE
ISLAY COLLECTION”. As his mother came from Islay, he came with the idea of
putting up a set of miniatures with all the distilleries of Islay. The set was
introduced during the Feis Ile. For all the pictures
of the miniatures go to my ISLAY
COLLECTION page. If you are interested in this set drop me a mail and I
will forward it to the gentleman that came up with the idea. The set is limited
to 50 packs.

2010:
Beside the miniatures that I was able to find during my holiday, I was
also presented with a beautiful set by Burn Stewart. Burn Stewart, the owners
of Bunnahabhain, Deanston
and Tobermory are working hard to upgrade their products.
Last year they already released a new version of Deanston,
and this year they released new version of the Tobermory
and Ledaig. All are bottled at 46.3% vol. They also
decided to do this with the core range of Bunnahabhain
and to promote this, a special promotional set was released. I am pleased that
I am one of the people that was presented with this box and I
can tell you that
during the Pot Still Festival, the Bunnahabhain 12
year old in the 46.3% vol. got a great response, especially when tasted next to
the “old” 40% vol. version.

2010:
I just uploaded the first distillery reviews of the trip that I made to Speyside during the last 2 weeks. During the coming week I
will add more reviews, as well as miniatures that I was able to add to my
collection during the last weeks.
